Are you saying that new pages are not listed in Google's listings for 8 - 9 days?

If so most of us are in the same position, you have to be a very powerful site to be spidered/crawled on a more frequent basis.

This site is currently ranked the 275th most powerful website by Alexa. It gets crawled on an almost constant basis, for the size of your site and the level of new content added, 8 - 9 days is about right.

Thank you Harvey51

Is there a way to speed up the crawler?

Does the type of model affect the speed or slow crawl new evidence to Google?

If your site has a constant stream of new content Google will notice this over time and crawl your site more often.

The best way of giving yourself a boost is to use Twitter or other social sites, that get crawled on a constant basis and link to the new page, if you have people posting classified ads on your site you can suggest to the poster that they create links to boost their ad.

If in the administrator area of your site you have the latest article module published, you can list the new articles and once a day tweet or post links to those pages.

Google has only indexed one page.

You can compare what webmaster tools show against the search results by searching this term:

site:taha285.com

This proves Google is only listing your home page.

Google will not automatically index your pages just because of an XML sitemap. Pick one page and build backlinks to that page, preferably from relevant - on topic sites, don't worry about them being 'Nofollow' links.

Leave it a week or so and check again, this should get that page indexed and Google will start indexing other pages. You need to build backlinks to get all your pages indexed, not to every page but as many as possible will help.

Alexa only shows two sites linking to you and with 500 pages on your site, Google will be suspicious of the quantity versus almost no backlinks.

Build backlinks and pages will start to be indexed.

You can speed up the google crawler by adding your site at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools. Once you've done the little, "yes this is my site" confirmation dance, you can change the crawl rate under Configuration > Settings > Crawl Rate.

You might need to also do the Health > Fetch as Google then fetch some specific pages other than your homepage and click the "submit to index". I would also check to make sure there aren't any problems with the robots.txt file or some meta tags in the header limiting crawler access.

Hope some part of that helps someone.

Google will only index or cache pages it finds and considers important. Bookmarking a page through a major social media site like delicious can speed that up. You can easily see if Google has cached a page with a browser seo plugging, I use SEO site tools for Chrome.

Don't forget to add a sitemap in Google Webmasters, that might help.

As you see, in site:taha285.com, google just indexed my first page(home) and don`t follow my links and menus in pages to discover other pages. I have link in all my pages.

Dear jdwires
Finally I found the cause of my problem :) . When i fetch my web site as google( in webmaster tools) I saw that, google can`t receive HTML of my web site and joolma only generate this for google:
Code:
HTTP/1.1 303 See other
Date: Mon, 13 Aug 2012 08:11:45 GMT
Server: Apache
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.17
P3P: CP="NOI ADM DEV PSAi COM NAV OUR OTRo STP IND DEM"
Set-Cookie: fc57c2dfbbc2cd1034b2174c7f055610=d2977fe8d3b11023dcdf587010654fdd; path=/
Location: http://taha285.com/index.php?option=com_chatfactory&controller=user&task=enable
Content-Length: 0
Keep-Alive: timeout=5, max=100
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: text/html

as you can see in below imgae:
Image

Now,
Why joomla can`t generate HTML of page for google??

Your problem is in the very first line of that response from the googlebot. Your page is returning a http response code of 303, which is a redirect for see other, instead of a 200.

You either have an issue with one of your extensions or your htaccess file. If you post you htaccess file contents we can check for a problem there and rule that one out.

I would try turning off any extentions, and SEF urls rewriting, and change .htaccess back to htaccess.txt and try another fetch as google or use the site http://web-sniffer.net/. It will git you the same type of report a bit more quickly.

The key that you are looking for is the first line to say "Status: HTTP/1.1 200 OK".

Good luck.

I'm not sure if it will work in a J! 1.5 site but here is a thread with a similar problem in the newer versions with a couple possible solutions. viewtopic.php?f=617&t=713202#p2796285

Is there a file in the root directory named .htaccess instead of htaccess.txt. The .txt file is only a text file and won't change anything on your site.

You've got something weird going on with your site. Something that is either a part of your template or and extension is causing the page to be redirected to it self. There are actually two GET calls for the same page/file for your site. The first, the another about a second later that starts to load all of the HTML, CSS, and other goodies.

I would try turning off all of your extra, non-joomla modules and plugins and try the http://web-sniffer.net/ test to see if you still get a 303 response.

Dear jdwires
Thank for your reply :)
No.I checked my files, I haven`t this file(.htaccess) in root.
I installed some joomla package on my website. Is it possible that these packages make my site impaired?
do you have any suggestion?

I would try this.
    1. Disable any non-core joomla modules, components, or plugins.
    2. Go to http://web-sniffer.net/ and enter your site URL and check the response header code (Hopefully will be a 200)
    3. Re-enable the components, modules, and plugins one at a time and repeat the http://web-sniffer.net/ test each time

When the response header changes from 200 to 303, that last add-on is the culprit.

Good luck,
Joel

You nailed it. That is what you want to see. Now, if you still want to use some of your extensions, re-enbable one at a time, and check the fetch as google after each one has been activated. When you get back to the 303 response, the one you just enabled is the problem extension. You just might have to find a different extension to take its place.

Have fun! You're almost done!
