Hi,

Updated site, meta, SEF, change out keywords and content regularly, have social media sites, blogs, submitted URLs and sitemap to Google, etc. For some reason Google search results still don't have us showing up and they are pulling old versions of the site from when it was first live without any changes and all the URL's are terrible template versions (index.php/fruit-sample-site, etc.).

Any ideas how I can get rid of the old results and move us up in results? I'm running out of ideas, and/or have missed something substantial in my htaccess file perhaps?

Please HELP.

You don't have any sites linking in to you, this is vital for your SEO. Build backlinks from relevant sites i.e blog posts, article submissions and directory links.

View your competitors Alexa page and see who links to them, then simply go to those sites and create your own links.

Also your headings structure is very poor, these are replicated on every page:

h1 -
h2 - Nav View Search
h3 - Navigation
h3 - Search
h2 - Testimonials

You need to properly structure how your content is laid out and in all honesty you need more content.

Your blog is a wordpress site and that is a good option, but it's two clicks away from the rest of the site, why have you got a page in-between that only links to the blog? why is the blog not directly linked to from the menu?

Sort out these issues and Google will start crawling your site, your domain is only six weeks old and Google probably is not seeing any changes as no one links to you, build up some backlinks and thing will improve.

Thanks so much! You rock! I'm already in the process of submitting articles, getting listed on directories, and engaging in a good amount of affiliate marketing for links. We are also adding individual solution pages for more content as well. Most of your suggestions are in process at this point, so that's great. Gotcha on the headings. Great info.

Had the blog menu option going to straight to wp, but that carries folks away from our site, so decided to build a blog page where we'll have snippets from the blogs on the page eventually and then a "read more" type option to link out to wp for full content and commenting. Is that a good option in your opinion, or should we go back to an external link to wp?

I can build SEO, and am patient while we move. My concern is that the old pages before we were really live are showing up all over Google. I submitted them for removal, but they're still there. I'm a bit confused as to why they are showing up. Any ideas on that?

I REALLY APPRECIATED THE INPUT!!!!

Google can take time to remove URLs you request to be removed, I think six weeks seems to be the average length of time.

Getting links from frequently crawled sites is probably the quickest way of getting your new pages indexed.
