Hi all,

I will 100% certain this is the last question for our new Joomla website

If I set Search Engine Friendly URLs = Yes, all top menu links clikcing will only go to home page. However if I set the parameter to No, those menu links works fine (http://www.iedex.com.au/index.php?optio ... 3&Itemid=4)

Anyone please help as the site is already on live now and it looks really urgly with those lone urls.

Thanks,
Horace

Can you check the "alias" of these Menu items and confirm they are all different?

Yes.
Firstly is your .htaccess file renamed from the htaccess.txt file ? If not it should be. You may also need to uncomment #RewriteBase. Also you may need to check rewrite works on your server. See http://docs.joomla.org/Enabling_Search_ ... EF%29_URLs

I have resloved the issue, which is our website is hosted remotely on the Window ISS web server not apache server, just in case anyone else stuck into the similar issue as me please refer to the following link: http://docs.joomla.org/Enabling_Search_ ... RLs_on_IIS

You had not provided information about your server that's why the link I posted had information for both Linux and windows(cough spit wash my mouth out). And it also links to the page you posted the link for. As well as a link to a list of pages concerning the issue http://docs.joomla.org/Category:Search_ ... endly_URLs
