Problem on how my webpage displays on Google results.

Post by sesmovedon » Tue Sep 16, 2014 7:52 am

Hello, i am a teacher in a school (Kessaris School) in greece. When someone does research with the name of the school Εκπαιδευτήρια Καίσαρη (in Greek), on the results page, can see the name of our school normally but just below, where the most visited articles are displayed... in front of article names we see the phrase hollywood [spam]. For example hollywood [spam] Our School or hollywood [spam] Our History... It's a joomla site v. 1.5

Sometimes this appears and dissapears by itself on google results.

Someone in a google forum answered me that saw the next code:

<meta name="author" content="admin_g" />
<meta name="description" content="Hollywood [spam] Επικοινωνία - Εγγραφές Βάρη Αττικής (πίσω από τη Σχολή Ευελπίδων)." />

you need to change the meta name="description"

I don't know where to find this code and generally i don't know how to find the html code of an article title in order to find the words Hollywood [spam] and delete them.

I don't know what to do.

I would appreciate if you helped me.

- check text in joomla configuration
- check in some menu ( option title, meta, ..)
- see some notice from google web master tool
After change, you need to have some days to apply on google result.
