Great meeting - thanks to all of you who came along, new faces and old. Good also to make the link with the Melbourne JUG via Patrick. And thanks very much to Greg, for a very educational talk on building components. I for one am confident to make a start on building one now. By vote, the next meeting topic will be 1.5 templates. Also in the running for future meetings is Acajoom, Fireboard, SMF bridge and Legal (open source related) issues. Please feel free to suggest further topics.

re: Our JoomlaDay planning & dinner meeting

Thanks to everyone who came along last night. It was an excellent nosh-up, great turn out and we welcomed several new (to us!) faces - Brad, Lee, Tim and Mark.

Not much JoomlaDay planning took place, but it was a very enjoyable and social meeting. Thanks to Greg for having the foresight to bring along a list of potential topics for our Joomladay presentations - of which more details presently.... and the Joomladay plan is coming along nicely anyway - it's gonna be huge -very exciting!
