Re: Joomla! User Group Omaha (Nebraska)
I was referring to the Omaha User Group. One question came to mind regarding hosting and people's experience with a really good Joomla hosting environment. I've looked at the forums but I find such conflicting opinions as well as in the best of joomla reviews. I just wanted to hear what someone from our group had to say on the topic. Is that bad "forum form"?

Re: Joomla! User Group Omaha (Nebraska)
Kathy, I think that is an excellent topic to discuss at our next meeting. Do you have any specific questions that you would like answered? I have a lot of experience in the area and I am sure others in the group will be able to provide input as well.kdavid wrote:I was referring to the Omaha User Group. Re: Joomla! User Group Omaha (Nebraska)
What would the users recommend as the best hosting and customer service platform for Joomla sites? What do people think of the template clubs out there? Is anyone creating their Joomla templates from scratch? How hard is that exactly? Just a few for starters.

Re: Joomla! User Group Omaha (Nebraska)
Does this group continue to meet?
I am a little ways out (Sioux Ciity, IA) but would be willing to make the trip. OR is there a group closer to home?
Are there any requirements/prerequisites?
Thanks for any info.

Re: JUG USA - Omaha (Nebraska)
Yeah I am interested. I live out near 160th and Center.
Like I said I am looking to start a Joomla Podcast and so anyone in the area that would like to be a part of that would be cool.

Hello Corison!
We have moved Omaha JUG Discussions over to our Google User's Group page:
http://groups.google.com/group/omaha-joomla-user-group
After you post something, I will whitelist your username to no longer need moderation.
A podcast sounds like a lot of fun.
Also, we are looking for a new leader... interested?
