Following a new policy of organization of JUG's in Brazil (where Manoel is participating viewtopic.php?f=562&t=479450 and some others), I sent the necessary information to acceptance by OSM of Joomla User Group DF (JoomlaDF).

Any interested person can join us in this address: http://groups.google.com.br/group/joomladf
We are a portuguese language group, for Distrito Federal - Brazil users.

If our registration process be approved, our site will can be found in www.joomladf.org

That's all.

We had some problems with the registration of the domain and had to change to www.joomlacalango.com and www.joomlacalango.org

You need to request new record or you can change?

no my dear, the JUG not dead! There was only the person who registered the domain changed the passwords. So we changed the name ONLY. So much so that we are organizing the national event JoomlaDay Brazil this year to September. Faced with this new registration request with the name JoomlaCalango. And yes, for this we are still awaiting approval.

Hello, I would write you because we submit our request JUG months ago and so far not received any answer. We are the Brasília/DF/Brazil.

It was necessary to change the name of JUG DF for Comunidade Joomla Calango. I reported this in an email to the OSM and even made a new request with the name changed.

What procedure should take to try to expedite this?

Here in Brasilia Brazil will receive the Joomla Day in September 2010, on 4 and 5. Gostaríamso much to expect the adoption of JUG. www.joomladaybrasil.org

Even we have a space to talk about JoomlaDay JUGs and his creation .... complicated but really is encouraging this with both delay and lack of information about the processes.
