I'm looking for information on the MSP JUG. The website has no meetings listed past February of 2009. Anyone know if this JUG is still active and around?

From what I can tell the MSP JUG is no longer active.
Anyone know what we need to do to 'take over' a JUG?
Anyone else interested in 're-forming' something in our area?

I'm currently working abroad, but if you are willing to proceed with cpaschen's plan about re-forming anything similar, I'm able to support you from time to time and can possibly put some hours into it (marketing) to get this started.

I've got a few 'users' (my clients) that would probably be interested in attending if we got this going again.
I'm involved in a number of 'public groups' here in the area and can probably find places to meet.
If we've got 2-3 others who would be willing to help coordinate some of the details, I can probably get 'content' each month (I do training as part of my business - so I could do presentations when needed - and I've made connections with a few in the Joomla-world and could get other 'content' for events).
If anyone else is interested in helping get this going, PM me and let's get it rolling.

We are working on a meeting for February, website says the 2nd, but that is changing. We are coming up with a date and will let everyone know when and where it will be!
