We've got a very active membership in JoomlaChicago, the official Chicago Joomla! User Group.

We meet over lunch (which is free)
Meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of every Month, from 11am - 1:30pm

Offices of The Acquity Group
500 West Madison St
Suite 2200 (22nd Floor)
Chicago, IL

11:00 am - 11:45 - Joomla Pro or Joomla KickStart for Newbies
11:45 am : Joomla! Showcase (see local folks' Joomla!-powered websites)
Noon - 1:00pm : Featured Topic (our entire year's schedule is posted on our site)
1:00pm - 1:30pm : Networking Time

You can also optionally sign up for the Professional Hour, to link up with a Joomla! professional in the group.

Register to attend each month at http://joomlachicago.com
Meetings are approximately 60 people each month. We max out in 2 weeks, so sign up early.
Lunch is provided. Just bring yourself and plenty of ideas to share!

Nope, you don't need to be from, or live in Chicago. We have our monthly live meetings, but you're welcome to be a part of it online ... or come to a live meeting if you wish too (it's free, and it's well worth it). We've got people who come from hundreds of miles away to our meetings.

Meetings are on the SECOND Wednesday (I spaced out above said the 3rd Wed) of every month.

There are 60 available seats. Currently there are 8 remaining.
