I recieved this email at "JUG Sevilla" mail:
This is a message sent by Nick A. <[email protected]> from a Group named
- Joomla! User Group Sevilla. The Group URL is:
http://community.joomla.org/user-groups ... spain.html

Hi there!

This is Nick A. (aka nant) from the Community Builder Team over at
Joomlapolis.

I have been doing a virtual roadshow presentation (via skype/dimdim) about
membership sites using Joomla/CB/CBSubs.

The presentation can be tailored to fit your time restrictions (anywhere
from 15 mins to 60 mins). If this is something that would interest your
group, you can contact me on skype - nickanti or email me at
[email protected]

Thank you,
Nick
Isn't that spam? I mean, I have not suscribed to any newsletter, nor given that email adress away ever to anybody. That mail was absolutely unsolicited. I don't know if they're offering free or paid courses; I don't mind at all. Shouldn't these things be prohibited within the community?

I suspect that more JUGs will have recieved that mail, so that's why I'm asking here.

What do you think?

i purposefully set up a jug email address and it gets psammed all the time..
something to do with the fact that all the JUG emailaddresses are in plaing type on the jug tree..
