Maybe I should start charging for this

2762 x $10 = $27620.00

Thats almost twice what I earn a year in my current job....

:D

Would love to have a paypal dontaion link, but paypal support for South Africa is very limited, you can't withdraw the funds to a local account.

yes well i can only speak for myself but i would be willing to pay 10 dollar for this... MOSCE was great, without it i would not be able to make the stargate-sg1.nl website as it is.... I think everyone that makes this kind of fantastic software should benefit, cause we all now how many people will acituly make a donation.... 29000 downloads and 20 donations  :o

I am thinking of making a subscription service, aimed specifically at those users that would use JCE commercially. You would'nt be forced to purchase (you could still use it for free), but would be encouraged to purchase a subscription (by me asking very nicely) for each commercial site you install it on. This fee would be in the region of $10 and there would be discounts for multiple purchases.

Purchasing a subscription would give you access to specific forums, a mailing list or dedicated e-mail address to contact me with and free access to plugins that other users would have to pay for (I have some in mind).

I would wait to launch a service like that until JCE is considered reasonably stable.

I would also probably use a proper shopping cart system with VISA/Mastercard payment. I haven't done much research on this yet.

Yes, first impressions very good. Seems very stable and all the plugins seem to work fine.

I still have a problem when I click on HTML (to view the HTML page)....all I get is a blank screen in FF1.5 but its fine in IE.....anyone out there know the reason for this??

Great work Ryan.....let us all know when you get some form of donations page going.....you deserve it.
