Is this the only other free editor with image and file upload support? (other than mosce, TMEdit doesnt have it, their Suite is not free and SPAW is offline???)

this editor is the ONLY editor that has worked fairly flawlessly for me - doesnt add weird formatting and has the image browser functionality that simpler editors dont and it actually works.  Whoever makes this is a legend!!  I want to see something like this as standard in Joomla!  Its great!!

Im not a big fan of TinyMCE thats for sure. I think SPAW was the one i used before...from memory it had icons that were in similiar style to the ones in this forum ya?...

Yea, I like FCKeditor seems like a very powerful WYSIWYG editor. I wonder why others don't use this. If I remember correctly (i'm not sure at all) FCKeditor didnt get very high praise @ *ambo forums.  At least thats the vibe I got from all the post I read about a year ago. Now I don't know how its changed since then, but I'm going to give this a try.  One thing...

I was wondering if it was possible to stretch (or change the size of) the text area.  I want to be able to see more text at a given time. I read through the wiki site at FCKeditor.net and see that it calls a method from FCKeditor class, but have no idea where this is in relation to joomla.

I'd also like to be able to change the language to english.  I may be just overlooking this feature somewhere on the backend.  Its nothing serious, but most of my clients speak english, and I wouldn't want to confuse them. Would you?  :P

if you click on the  mos_fckeditor in the bot list and go to the parameters you will see an area for height - i think default is 250 and i always change it to 400.

Alto del editor - relates to the height.

Is there a problem with fckeditor on a subdomain? I have two versions of the mambot, one on the subdomain, the subdomain doesn't seem to work. It loads the icons but it doesn't load the content.

Can anyone help, love this editor.
