As we build the International Stories section of the magazine (see http://magazine.joomla.org/topics/item/ ... al-Village, the point has been raised that the style guide (Author Resources for registered authors http://magazine.joomla.org/Author-Resources) is not adapted to languages other than English.
Ideally one day we will have multiple language versions for these resources if support and enthusiasm for international articles continues to grow. Until then, we will be counting on our International Editors to verify appropriate styling for their language.
Suggestions are welcome here! What do people think?

Re: International Stories non-English Article Styling
As the international editor for the German language I'll provide a proposal for the German language style according to the new German orthography.
I'm going to publish the proposal here when finished. You can send me your ideas and hints at [email protected], [email protected] or post it in this thread.
I think the guides for other languages than English should be written in the corresponding language, so that non-English speaker can read them. Or should they be in English?

I think the German style guide should be written in German. Thank you for taking this initiative!

Your German style guide looks great! Would you please log in to the magazine and submit it as an article? We will then assign it to Author Resources and link to it from the German pages. Thank you! This is wonderful work!!!

Re: International Stories non-English Article Styling
For sure. I will send it tomorrow as an article. (which category? German? Or International Stories?)
I think it will need some adoptions in the future, espacially the part for commas. There are many and even for native speakers not so easy comma rules in the German language. I only mentioned the four most important ones.
If any native German speaker (or even any other people who has professional German language skills) has comments or hints, feel free to post it here or as comment on my site:

Thanks!
