Hi All,

Got the basics of Joomla down, however need a bit of advice on where to begin on the next project. I'm looking to create a site, similar to hotukdeals.com (it won't be for bargains, but similar mechanics). Users will be able to vote for or against something- e.g. 10 for and 50 against will results in -40 with some sort of graphical representation. To stop voting spam the system should only allow 1 vote from a single IP address, they will not need to sign up to vote.

Beyond this, there should be a comments section whereby only registered users can leave comments. The topics to be voted on will be allowed to be submitted by registered users, however they will not appear on the site, until approved by a mod/admin.

Like I said, very much in the thought phase, but any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
