Hi,

1) I've tried to login using my J!People username and password and am getting a message that I've either been blocked, or that I did not activate the email link.

I did the latter, so I assume that I've been blocked. If this is the case, can someone please advise as to why. I thought I followed the guidelines, If I've missed something I would welcome an explanation and a chance to put right anything that's wrong.


2) I cannot upload an avatar picture because it is disabled

Hello
Assuming your profile name is webmaster.latino then that does not comply with the rules and guidelines and the moderation team would have blocked it

As said above, JPeople is about People not companies. Your avatar should be a picture of you preferably or at a minimum a cartoon or drawing.

can I reuse my email for a new account
or can I change just my username?

the site being discussed is people.joomla.org which is different to forum.joomla.org
all users of the different joomla.org sites are expected to bide by the rules & guidelines of that joomla.org site. the rules and guidelines and faq are marked across the top menu on people.joomla.org and also in the T&C when you register.
