hi there,

i co-organize the group http://community.joomla.org/user-groups/north-america/united-states/california/joomla-users-group-bay-area.html

i used james credentials (with his permission of course) and was able to login to the group page and make some changes.

i was unable to go to the people page and login with his or my credentials. i wanted to change some of the description. is there some other way to login other than "join group" which brings up a un/pw form? i wasn't able to find anywhere to login (even though i was logged in already - in which case, i saw no way to change a description.

any assistance is greatly appreciated. thanks!!

slightly the wrong forum for this BUT
there should be a generic log in apart from james.
I can sort you out a log in for the group using your co owner email address. I believe that you would prob be best talking to the jug team though. James has the specific email address. The group page was modified today by someone

i did the group page.

the people page was my issue and so i clicked the link at the top of the page because i couldn't login to the people page and it said that if i had issues to go here....i totally apologize for posting in the wrong forum!

so, the people page i would talk to the jug team about? i just want to make sure i'm clear so i don't make anyone elses life any more challenging. eek!

ok, it was because you posted the link to the community.joomla site caused the confusion. note you have to tell them what you have edited in the box else they may reject the changes
try going in via this page
