No changes when reloading page

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I have one problem with Joomla 2.5.1

I recently moved from Joomla 1.5.22 - I installed a clean Joomla 1.6 installation and I copied few tables from my old SQL database like a content table, users and few more. Then I used jUpgrade to install Joomla 2.5.1. Everything went fine. Then I realized that I cant see changes made on webpage even if I delete all the history and cookies. I even tried with another web browsers. Changes appear only about 10 minutes later. BUT, on another computer I can always see changes. It appears that I cant see any changes on computer from which I made the changes, and that is the case on all of my 3 computers. I tried emptying joomla cache, I don't know, maybe that helped a little, but I'm not sure.

One more thing - I'm using PhocaGallery and it doesn't have that problem - I can always see new things that I add in PhocaGallery.
I don't expect to solve this in a few days, I only want to know if other people have this problem and will it be fixed in new Joomla version?

Go into global configuration and turn off caching.

You might be viewing the internet through a caching proxy. Does this happen on localhost, or only on a live site?

I don't have Joomla installed localhost, only on live web page.
