Error: I've just run the Joomla 2.5 auto-updater in the admin of one of my client's sites and it has crashed the site.

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/xxxx/xxxx/libraries/joomla/application/base.php on line 87

I also did an auto-upgrade and I get...

that is not the answer to this issue...it is a solution to a different one...someone in that post mentions this issue and he is tole he cant be helped there... did I miss something?

I am having the identical issue...same cause...rean the updater result:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in xxxxxxxx/modules/mod_menu/helper.php on line 100
