Hello,

With J! 2.5.4 (but tested with older version, same result), into com_content, using the search field, you can't search articles by id anymore...
It returns nothing :(

To reproduce :

Go into com_content, type an id of an article, you'll get no results.

In fact you have to search like this now :

id:xxx

But it's less user friendly...

Are you sure? I have tried 'id:xxx' and 'id: xxx' and neither one are working...

Absolutely ( I'm now on J! 2.5.11 but works for at least since 2.5.9)

Ough, I understand now...Your right, in the ADMINISTRATOR, the search by id is working. In the FRONTEND was the problem. Do you know how to make the "search by id" work in frontend also?
