Is there any news about this "invalid token" message?
I got it quite often when login, either admin or front end in joomla 2.5, and this is quite embarrassing for users. Very bad image for joomla site indeed.

In the mean time, is there a way to change the message to be more explicit about what to do?
It seems that there are two constants on my system that contains "invalid token": COM_COMMUNITY_INVALID_TOKEN
and
JINVALID_TOKEN
and
COM_COMMUNITY_INVALID_TOKEN
but it seems to me that it would make MUCH MORE sense to have a user friendly page that explain to the user what he/she should do instead of failing so disgracefully! So far, removing the last part of the url (index.php?etc) always solved the problem (in all version since 1.5), so if no solution is known for this problem I will include this in the message.
Is it the same on your web site?

[Mod Note: Split topics into separate thread.]

[Mod note: Moved from General Forum to 2.5 Bug Reporting Forum; ]

Please note com_community is nothing to do with the Joomla Core specifically. Although it would appear to still be using the default language file for its value!

I have split this from the original thread and posted here in order that the Bug Squad might consider your request although given that it appears in 91 separate Joomla references within the code it may be difficult to define a more "approachable" message without defining 91 separate messages - just a thought (from a non-developer).
