Website URL: http://www.HunanOn9.com Template: Designed and built by me < also a Joomla! site, but in queue for a redesign. I also tried to make this as accessible as possible when CSS is disabled. Additional Extensions: mod_jw_ucd (by JoomlaWorks) Used this to create the fading images you see on the homepage. I originally bought their mod_fpslideshow, but after purchasing it, I realized that I could have just used their mod_jw_ucd instead. doh! mod_google_maps_moduleMap (by David Pollack) Ran into some issues with getting the exact location on the map. Resolved it by manually inputting the lat/long of the restaurant. phew. Custom Development: I created the login dropdown menu. Also "hacked" it to switch between it reading "sign in/register" and "logout insert_username_here" Three Specific Areas of my Site that I'd like Feedback On: Usability, Design, and Graphics Addtional Comments: Site is still being populated with more pictures and coupons. Thanks everyone in advance for your feedback!

Artistic and simple. Your design is truly beautiful. If only the quality of the photography of the dishes was as appealing as your design. This restaurant should be very proud to be this well represented in the Web! Good job! |

Clients that suggest taking pics, especially ones that are not skilled at it, was a mistake. Thanks again for the comments. |

I've always heard that photographing food was very difficult to do properly. I'm certainly no photographer so I'd do what you're doing and get a pro. Again, nice job. |

I grabbed my dslr and took some photos of the food and posted 'em on the site. Let me know what you think.... I'll probably be updating their food photos every OTHER week since I bartend at this place too... *how convenient*

the pictures are a little blurred - take your dished outside into natural light and take them on a white background. Should look better |

Nice nice nice. I'm trying to learn as much as I can so here is a stupid question. How do you synchronize the menu item to the right side item? Example, when you click on Chicken on the left "Our Menus", the chicken menu appears on the right. Is that just something built into Joomla? How can I do it? Thanks. |

Hey Sw1sschez, the "Our Menus" section is made possible with the Extended Menu Module (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/). Take a look at that first and let me know if you have any other questions. |

That is one of the best looking sites I had ever seen. Joomla sites tend to have a certain look to them, yours does a little, but when I see it, I don't think, "Yeah, thats a Joomla template". |

Very Nice all around. The only improvement I would suggest is add a form for people to fill out for employment. That way you get the information you want, and it makes it easier for people to submit there information. |

The site looks nice, but the module flashing the pictures doesn't seem to align correctly in IE. Looks fine in firefox, but in IE, it shows up at the bottom of the page, below "Current Promotions". Leaves a huge empty space beside Announcements |

I'll double check and have any of the problems fixed. Thanks! |
