Hello Website URL: http://eurorider.byethost13.com/ Template: Heavy redesigned from template Made Your Web Additional Extensions (Components, Modules, Plug ins): 1. Alberghi 2. Artforms 3. Jevents 4. Article Thumbnails 5. Multithumb ... and more Custom Development: a few hacks here and there on various extensions Other Features: Made the Header switchable in specific contents using modules and css. Since no one helped me earlier in the forum I had to come up with my own Header Switch, hehe. Three (at least) specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on (design, code, graphics, etc.): 1. About the looks in general how easy it is on your eyes. 2. Text style, lineheight, size, color and such. Thinking of installing the font resize module 3. and the graphics Additional Comments: -Since the language might be foreign to you I cannot ask for navigation comments :p. -I have disabled the Fisheye top right for IE6 and below browsers. - I do not fancy the quick glitch when the background is loading, before it is moved to the bottom. Have no idea how to solve this yet. -I have some more finishing details to take care of, but in general, this is it. Since this host is not final and my domain is not re-pointed yet I am not interesting in speed load times.

Great looking site. I'd love to know how you managed alternating the header for downstream pages. See my club site at http://www.gobcyc.com. |

Thank you both for kind replies! If interested... Here is my very first site made in joomla. It was a good education. Was aimed to replace my current club website. http://surteis.byethost13.com/ When clicking on "Fotboll" or "Innebandy" it will display its own menu. Needs more work but not certain if it will really go live so it is on the shelf so far.... BCYC wrote: Great looking site. I'd love to know how you managed alternating the header for downstream pages. See my club site at http://www.gobcyc.com. I am glad you like it! It took some time to figure it out... but it is generally very simple! Here are the ingredients ![]() - First you need the header container to have a default image. Styled as a background image and a fixed height in css. - Place any module position you like inside the header container. - Create a new module for each new header image you like. - Position it to the moduleposition and Assign which pages it should be displayed at. - In the editor text field simple add a new DIV element with an unique ID. Must be done in source view. - Lastly style that DIV with a background image and set it a fixed height. Do reply with your progress |

i'm trying to implement this but to no avail. in my index.php page, it calls css id "logo" like this: <div id="header"> <a href="<?php echo $this->baseurl;?>" class="nounder"><img src="<?php echo $this->baseurl;?>/images/blank.png" border="0" alt="" id="logo"/></a> but what if I want the individual header modules created to call "logo1" or other, etc? does the module override the editor text field where I then add <div id="logo1"></div>? |
