The Contact Manager New/Edit screen allows you to create or edit contacts on your Web site.
Toolbar: Save: Click the 'Save' icon to create your new contact or save any parameters that you have edited in the Contact Details.
Cancel: Click the 'Cancel' icon to exit the screen without saving. This takes you back to the Contact Manager. The contact remains checked-in. Cancel: Click the 'Cancel' icon to exit the screen without saving. This takes you back to the Contact Manager. The Contact item remains checked-in.
Contact Details: Any field left blank will not be displayed. Any field filled out will be included in the downloadable vCard for this contact. Any field filled out will be included in the downloadable vCard (if the vCard is set to ‘Show’) for this contact.
Category: This is a drop-down menu of all the published contact categories. Select the category you would like to place the contact in. Category: Select the category you would like to place the contact in from the drop-down list. This list is shows all the published contacts from all categories.
Linked to User: This is a drop-down menu of all the registered users of your Web site. You can set this to " - No User - " for an independent setup of a Web site contact. Linked to User: If you wish to link this Contact item with a User, select the User from this is a drop-down list of all the registered users of your Web site. Select ‘-No User-‘for an independent setup of a Web site contact.
Name: Type the name of the contact as you would like it to be displayed on your Web site. You can enter either a person's name, department, product, or whatever you wish. Contact's Position: This is best used with a name to display the Title of the contact. An example would be "CEO". Contact's Position: Type (or edit) the contact’s position. This is best used with a name to display the Title of the contact. An example would be "CEO".
E-mail: The email address for the contact. E-mail: Enter the email address for the contact.
The following 5 fields can be used to provide geographical access information if desired.

The following two fields can be used to provide phone and fax number information if desired.
* Telephone * Fax
Miscellaneous Info: Type any other information you wish to provide about the contact. You can use html code in this field.
Publishing Tab Site Default: Select 'Yes' or 'No' to make the contact the default for your Web site. Site Default: Select 'Yes' or 'No' to make or not this contact the default for your Web site.
Published: Select 'Yes' or 'No' to have the contact be displayed, or not, on your Web site to your users.
Ordering: Once you click the 'Save' or 'Apply' icon, a drop-down menu will appear allowing you to select a contact from your list of published contacts. The contact your are creating or editing will follow the selected contact. Ordering: Select the contact that you want your contact to be before. You’ll be able to do this once you click the 'Save' or 'Apply' icon as a drop-down list will appear you to select a contact from your list of published contacts. Access: This will allow you to choose who can view the contact on the frontend if you publish it. Choose from 'Public, Registered' or 'Special.' Access: Choose from 'Public, Registered' or 'Special’ access. This will who can view the contact on the Front-end if you publish it.
Images Tab: You may select an image (from folder images/stories) to display next to the contact, or select "- Select Image -" to not display an image. ParametersTab You can change various parameter settings that will effect what is displayed when the user clicks to view a Contact Item.
Menu Image: This allows you to set an image that would appear to the left or right of the menu item. The image must be placed in the /images/stories directory. Note: This field is useless in 1.0 as this page does not concern a Menu Item. Menu Image: Select an image from the drop-down list if you wish this image to appear to the left or right of the menu item. The image must first be placed in the /images/stories directory. Note: This field is useless in 1.0 as this page does not concern a Menu Item.
Page Class Suffix: This allows you to set customized styles for this page. The suffix you enter is automatically added to the CSS classes for the contact page. Page Class Suffix: Enter the suffix of the CSS classe if you wish this page to have a customized style. The suffix you enter is automatically added to the CSS classes for the contact page. You must have the suffix classe in your CSS style file.

Print Icon: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, the icon and link to the printer-friendly format of your items. Using the pull-down menu, you can also select 'Use Global' to use the parameter as defined globally through the Site->Global Configuration, 'Hide' or 'Show'.
Back Button: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, a "Back" text link that would appear on the bottom of the page and return the user to the previously viewed page. Using the pull-down menu, you can also select 'Use Global' to use the parameter as defined globally through the Site->Global Configuration, 'Hide' or 'Show'.
The following 12 fields defined above may be hidden or shown by checking the radio buttons:
* Name * Position * E-mail * Street Address * Town/Suburb * State/County * Country * Postal Code/ZIP * Telephone * Fax * Misc. Info * Image
E-mail description: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, the description text, described below.
Description text: Enter the description text you would like to be displayed for the email form. If left blank, it will use the _EMAIL_DESCRIPTION language definition.
E-mail Form: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, the email form.
E-mail copy: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, the checkbox to email a copy to the sender's address.
Drop-down: Select 'Show' or 'Hide,' to display, or not display, the drop-down menu list when in full view. When the user is viewing the contact information, they will be able to choose another contact to display.
Icons/Text: You can choose if the fields listed below should be introduced by an icon, the default text for the fields in the Contact Details, or nothing.
You may choose, if decided so above, a specific icon to introduce the following fields:
* Address * E-mail * Telephone * Fax * Misc Info
If you choose a custom image, this image should be uploaded to the images/stories directory in the Media Manager.
