Hi Michelle,

I see this has been checked out, but that was over a month ago.  In light of that and in the event the documentation member who has it checked out could better spend time on other things, I have begun proofreading as well.

_Beginning here: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/91/153/ and continuing to click next at the bottom of each page (as well as ignoring for now the links), below are my suggestions on the first 4 of 19 pages:

Module Manager

________________________page 1

Module Manager

1st paragraph

Modules are modular elements used to display information items or interactive features throughout a Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) Site.

2nd paragraph:
There are hundreds of modules already programmed for Joomla,(<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) written by various
oomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!)community members.  You will find them on the Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) projects site, http://developer.joomla.org. They are free and available for download.

Toolbar Icons: (editor note: This section has irregular spacing between paragraphs.)

New: ...It can be used as a text box, image module or even to include customized code. (<--suggest for a
smoother read:
It can be used as a text box, image module or can even include customized code.)

Edit: ..This enables you to change the attributes of a module like (<--suggest 'such as' instead of like) it's
(<--typo. It's its, not it's.) title, it's (<--typo. It's its, not it's.) position, the order in which it appears on the  page, access level and whether it is published or not.

From this page you will also be able to change the location the module appears on the Front-end of your site and any parameters that apply to the module. (--Suggest for smoother read: From this page, you will also be able  to change the location of where the module is published on the Front-end of your site and any parameters that apply to the module.)

Column Descriptions: (editor note: This section has irregular spacing between paragraphs.)

Check Box/Padlock: Click this to select the module. A padlock icon will replace the Check Box if the item is
checked-out. This means the module is unavailable to other managers. If you have checked-out the item, click
the name to go to the Edit screen.  You can either click the Save (<--encased consistancy, 'Save') or the
Cancel (<--encased consistancy, 'Cancel')icon to check back in the module.  If this module has been checked out by another manager/administrator, please contact the administrator of your site for him/her to Check-in
the module.

Module Name: This is the title of the module. It is editable and (<--typo--there is an additional space between
and and will)
will be displayed on the Front-end of your Web site if you choose so.(<--suggest 'choose to do so.)

Published: This tells you if the module contents will show on the Front-end of your Web site. Click the 'blue' arrow icon or 'red' cross to toggle the status.(<--perhaps better to encase the icon name instead of color? eg blue 'arrow' icon)

Order : This shows the order of the modules as displayed in the Front-end of your site. (--spacing typo here--)
To modify this order, type in the number that you would like to have them presented.  Then, click the Save
Order(<--for consistancy, 'Save Order' encased) icon next to the Column Heading Order.

Position:  ....NOTE: You can only assign the module position to one that is already coded into your template (<--typo, add period.)

Pages: ...NOTE: This is not applicable to Administrator modules. Click on the Edit (<--consistancy, 'Edit') icon in the Toolbar to edit this.

ID: This is the ID number for the module item. This is allocated by the Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) site system when the module instance is saved.

Filtering functions are available at the top-right of the list. To filter the displayed modules by Position and module type, select from the Select Position (<--consistancy, encase 'Select Position') and/or Select Type (<--consistancy, encase 'Select Type')drop down menu.

The following Site Modules are bundled with Joomla:(<--typo, add ! after Joomla!)
The following titles for each module are the default titles in Joomla's (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) release.

Modules: Edit

This page displays the editable parameters for Modules in Joomla. (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!)

Toolbar Icons: (editor note: This section has irregular spacing between 'paragraphs'. Also, unlike the first page, click "name" icon is now encased in "x" rather than 'x'.  For consistancy, should be one or the other throughout. The same is true for encasing Front-end and Back-end. Before, they were not encased and now are.)

ID: This is the ID number for the module item. This is allocated by the Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) site system when the module is saved.

(<--typo. An extra space at the beginning of this sentence needs to be removed.) Here is a list of available default site Modules.

The following titles for each module are the default titles in Joomla's (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) release.
Click any of the Modules below to learn about specific parameters help: (<--suggest change to: Click any of the Modules below to learn about a specific parameter's help:)

Module Positions

The Module Positions page allows you to enter details of the module positions you have used in your template. All the default module positions are already entered and in general (<--insert commas--> and, in general,) it is unlikely you would need to change this.

Should you want to use positions that do not pre-exist in the default Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!) setup (<--insert comma__> setup,) you can simply add a name for a module position and a description.

Modules: New

The User module is a custom module created when clicking the 'New' icon in the Module Manager.(--spacing issue here--) You may use this module to display Content...

Type: mod_user

Details: (suggest line break before list begins)

Position: Choose which position that you want this module to display in. This is determined (--insert the word 'by'--) the positions available in your templates.

ID: This is the ID number for the module item. This is auto-allocated by the Joomla (<--typo, add ! after Joomla!)system when the module is saved.

Parameters:

Module Class Suffix: Add a suffix if needed <--insert commas: suffix, if needed,--)to be applied to the CSS class of the module (table.moduletable) to allow individual module styling.

This information does not concern RSS Feeds:

Custom Output: Here you may enter any text  (<--typo, extra space) or code you like that you wish (<--I would remove 'that you wish') to display it's (<--typo. It's its, not it's.)output (<--typo, extra space) in ths module anywhere on the pages of your site.

This information concerns RSS Feeds:

RSS URL: Enter here the URL of the RSSfeed (<--typo. Separate RSS and feed with a space) you want to display on your site.

Feed description: Choose to show or not the description text for the whole Feed.(<--consistancy. Only time Feed is capital when not first word in sentence or title. Should be lower case 'feed')
