Hi
I see that most joomla user need native cck http://ideas.joomla.org/forums/84261-joomla-idea-pool but I see nowhere even any text about plans to add such functionallity to joomla. I'm really suprised that still joomla hasn't that functionallity. At this momeny we have to use 3rd party extensions like seblod, k2 which are extremely poorly documented and supported , and this discourage me twice time more to use joomla. If joomla has native cck it would be best cms in the world, but now it win with drupal or worpress in areas where developer have to do some simple things with few clicks, but totally lose when developer want to do something more complicated. And finally , I use joomla for some years but for me it have poor developer documentation too ,I still can't/ don't know how to write for example component. Shockingly it was easier for me to learn how to do more complicated thing in seblob than in joomla :(. I hope somebody from dev team read this.

Hello DaReign,
So the main issue when we read you it's the documentation.
Any help is welcome ;).
Joomla 3.x will have UCM API in the core and native Joomla component will be build with it in version 4.x. UCM = Unified Content Model
SEBLOD will work certainly with UCM but in a more advanced purpose.
Best Regards

Unfortunately developers are not always that good and/or keen to write documentation, they would rather (rightly?) be doing development work. On the other hand writers are often not developers and cannot quite get under the hood particularly easily.

Some have succeeded in this task and have released books that are listed in the Joomla Shop (most recent and perhaps notable) is that by Louis Landry and Mark Dexter
