Hello,

I have .MSI files loaded in a directory that I need certain users to download. When Windows 7 users try and download these .MSI files they get downloaded with a .MAN extension by mistake. This doesn't seem to happen if the user is using Vista or Windows XP.

I have .MSI listed in both legal extensions and legal image extensions. I also have Check MIMI type set to "No".

This worked before I upgraded to 2.5.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Do you use a Download extension?

Try Phoca Download.

No, I don't use a download extension, I've never had to before. It just used to work.

I think there must be some underlying issue. It works fine with users of Microsoft OS's prior to Windows 7. It just doesn't work correctly ( Downloading as a .MAN page) for users of Windows 7. When the file is downloaded it's being given a Content Type of "application/x-troff-man" - this is not correct. It should be: "application/octet-stream .msi"
