Hi all,
I don't know all use cases of Joomla! and I hope it can be usefull for my work.

I need a CMS to do:
- same "site" with different menus and sections for different login users: users of different Companies (groups?) must see a download menu with the list of own products and the related last updates of their deliveries
- a simple way to publish a new delivery of a product for a specific Company, without updating/changing Download section for that Company

Is it possible with Joomla!? How?
It is suggested to use and configure categories? I seem it is an hard work!!!
It is suggested to use an extention? What?

It can certainly be done with joomla, but it's not exactly a "basic" setup. I would suggest finding a developer to do the work for you.

Extensions that may provide what you need would include ecommerce carts like, Virtuemart, Redshop, Mijoshop

Community systems like JomSocial, Community Builder

Otherwise you will need expert customization to achieve the goal
