in joomla 2.5 when I add picture its correctly on the add article administrator page, but its not displaying on my website

,please advise?

Can you describe the exact steps that you take when adding a fresh picture to an article?

add the photo into media manager >add my photo > copy the url image> add new article > click on insert image icon > paste the image url

also i tried to
add new article > insert image > I choose the image which I already upload

Ok... now in the new article, do you click on the image icon on the top of the text box or the bottom? Very occasionally, I've faced a similar problem when I selected the insert image icon from the top bar. try the Image button at the bottom and select any image from the list that pops up. Then click on insert and tell me if it works.

If you are using TinyMCE editor install JCE editor which makes it much easier to add images.
Try clearing your browser cache.

Yes I'm using fire fox and I followed this steps but still the picture doesn't shows

also, the ({Object} {/Object}) thing , does not work with me at all !! :\

I'm having the same problem. When I add an image, it initially shows up in the article, but when I click save, the image disappears... any thoughts?

carnivoreboar: my problem start Like what happening now with you but, I solved it initially by going to Global configuration >Text Filters Tab > no filtering
it will not remove your picture on the edit article page but still its not showing at my site

Is the html code for the picture removed in the article when you save and close the article or is the html code still there when you reopen the article?

I was using a rocket theme template. I disabled the gzipper plugin and it worked. I also read it could be a jquery conflict.
