Delete Beginners, Upgraders, Professionals from joomla
I'm using Joomla 2.5 and have a problem. I'm unable to find the joomla sample article "Beginners, upgraders, professionals" under Article manager but it seems to appear on the front page whenever i login as a different user. Not sure how and where to delete this. I'm using my own custom template.

Go to article manager and click on featured articles. Maybe you'll find it there.

Sorry I tried but it's not coming up there, it seems to be pulling it off of somewhere else. It always appears when i login to the front end with any user login.

Maybe it's in a module? Or a template override? Does it only appear when you log in? If you just go to yoursite.com does it appear?

Trash places the Article in the Trash can. Trashed Articles can be seen in the front end by any logged in user who is allowed 'Edit state'. In Article manger change the 'select state' filter to 'Trashed'. You can empty it from Trash to remove it completelytechnewbie123 wrote:yes even when i login to front end as a super admin it comes up.

Re: Delete Beginners, Upgraders, Professionals from joomla
Out of curiosity, what Joomla version is this? Just for fun, I searched sample data files for both 2.5.9 and 3.0.3 and couldn't find that title in any of them. I know it's been there in the past because others have had the same issue. Apparently, it existed in some sample data somewhere as trashed. It doesn't seem to be in current sample data. Or at least I can't find it.

Thank you sooooo much!!! Deleting articles from Trash worked. I'm using Joomla version 2.5.6 stable.

A clarification - So, in the future, when many users are adding content and they delete some articles and do not empty trash, will those articles show up on the front page just like this one? Because that would be a real problem.

Then it's possibly a cache issue. If something like this happens, try to open your site with a browser you normally do not use to open the site.
