I've been experimenting, and was able to add a new article, and then add a new menu "link"... how do I assign a specific article to it's corresponding page...?

Thanks - sorry if it seems elementary - just getting my feet wet...

Did you add a new menu item of the type Single Article and then chosen the article you have created?

If the answer is yes, then in your site, you should be seeing this menu item and when you click on that menu item, you should see the article.

Review of the document http://cocoate.com/sites/cocoate.com/files/private/joomla17-english.pdf could be of help. Also, review of the site http://docs.joomla.org/ would be helpful.
