I made a component.
Then I registered it, inserting a record in _extensions table.
Then I tested it, using URL+ option=component
Works fine, after some work.
Then I created a link using EXTERNAL LINK.

oK, This works, but it's not very good.


How can I create a menu type that point to my component?

This will be just for my use, not to sell or distribute.

Probably the document http://docs.joomla.org/Developing_a_Model-View-Controller_%28MVC%29_Component_for_Joomla!2.5_-_Part_03 could be of help.

In fact, reviewing of the entire document series starting from http://docs.joomla.org/Developing_a_Model-View-Controller_(MVC)_Component_for_Joomla!2.5_-_Part_0 would be of help.

Ok, I am reading from chap 1.

But, back menu. "Simply put a site/views/helloworld/tmpl/default.xml file ..."

This is dinamic? It is just the file and Joomla see it or I need to create the install pack and re-install??
