I have had the sign-in module up on the front page since I installed joomla 2.5. This weekend, a club member said he was getting an error when trying to sign in. I created an account other than my administrator account to sign in from the front end. After getting the e-mail with the verification code I was able to sign in the first time. HOWEVER: I logged out and tried to log in again and got the error. I clicked on "forgot my password" and went through the getting a varification code and resetting my password. I was able to get in BUT again when I signed out, I could not sign back in again. I went through the process of changinging my password 3 time abd got the same result.
Can someone help me with this problem?

Can you check the administrator-> User Manager and see what the status etc of the users is?

Can you also check the Database -> prefix_users and see if the users are present.

This all looks good. If any member checks in to the Forum I have, there is no problem. The only reason I have the log-in on the front end is that I plan to set up articals that members can add things into. I have 2 members that can go into the backend.
