I installed the free iFreedom-fjt template on my [testing]site. Everything works great. When I tried registering a new user as "registered user", activate the account, then log in as the registered user, all the font styles change on the pages (and due to the bigger sizes, my menus get all messy). This login action also disables the currently "Twitter feed" I have on the page.

I would like for the registered users to have the same CSS styles aplied for the site. I really don't know why the CSS is behaving that way. I have tried to search for a specific CSS for "registered, admins, special, etc... users", but templates only come with their general CSS pages and the main page template.

I have also tried to look into the global settings and user settings, but can't seem to find the answer.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Can you provide a link to your site and a "dummy"/guest login so that we can see for ourselves what is actually happening?

How do you have your Twitter feed set up? Is it hard coded into the template? Are you using some kind of component/module within Joomla to display?

Here is a link to the site: [website deleted]
Username: TestDummy
Password: testdummy

I have a module for the Twitter feed: mod_TwitterShow

I'd really appreciate your help! Thank you in advance!

When I sign in, I don't get any changes in the way the CSS looks. (EDIT: Now, I am getting bigger fonts when I am NOT signed in and everything looks normal when I AM signed in)

I did get a warning in Chrome that said there was insecure content and then I had to click Allow for it to display the Twitter feed, but the feed was displaying properly when I came to the page for the first time. Then I logged out and it is asking to display the secure content again.

Now after going back and forth between being signed in and not being signed in, I think this may have to do with it switching back and forth between http and https. https gives me the warning before displaying the Twitter feed and makes the menu items the bigger font. http everything works how it should.

Are you forcing SSL on the front end and do you need to because of the nature of the site (financial information)?

I tested it on IE9 & Firefox 12.0 (Windows Vista), and Chrome 19.0 (Mac)... They only one that did not give me problems is Firefox 12.0...

If you notice, my navigation menus end up out of the dark grey navigation bar...

Yes, you are right it is going back and forth between http and https.... I see that the "change of font color" & twitter feeds disabled happens when it is on https. We do have an SSL certificate with the site, and DEFINITELY need it since it is a financial information.

Do you know how to fix it so that the template works with both http and https? Also, any alternative/secure ways for a Twitter Feed?

I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH for your help/time!

I honestly didn't know that the two would display the sites any different, I have a couple of sites for work that display both pages exactly the same.

When I look at the source code for both the http and https versions, there are only a couple of things that change from one to the other and neither of them really look like they would have an effect on the way the page is displayed.

Maybe an option for now would to be to always force SSL, no matter if you are signed in or not. Then get everything working with the https version.

I disabled form encryption for now. I think that after moving the site to the root directory with the https name on it and the right site settings and configuration, this problem can be solved... I am not sure yet, but will definitely close this posting and will post the answer as soon as I have it!

Thanks 6mtua5 for your help!
