JInstaller:Cannot find Joomla XML setup file ( SimpleViewer)

i try to install the image viewer , Simpleviewer Pro, but Joomla says:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

i tried to manually upload in a package and tried to install via directory install

What can it be??

I didn't know there was a simple viewer pro for joomla? Can you post a link to it? Thanks gws

Nor does the simpleviewer (not Pro) works

Joomla extension directory,where you download extensions for joomla. http://extensions.joomla.org/

I dont think it is a joomla extension and will not therefore install in joomla. There are many good galleries for joomla in the JED that are designed for joomla and will install with no problems. http://extensions.joomla.org/search?q=galleries make sure you select one for your version of joomla, 1.5 is the old version of joomla and 2.5 is the current version.
