Installing Banners Causes Site To Disappear

Post by bblovers » Thu Jan 29, 2015 9:42 pm

Hi

I am currently displaying banners using a custom HTML module.

However, when I try and use the installed Joomla! banner component (which I want to so that I can measure impressions and rotate banners etc) my whole site disappears. The page source is blank.

I have tried changing to the default template to see if it was an issue with the installed template I'm using and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? My site is http://www.britishbirdlovers.co.uk

Thank you in advance.

Check your error log.. it may give you a clue where and what is going wrong...
(I do mean Apache error log, if you are on a shared host and do not have access to the server, usually copies of the logs are kept in log folders accessible through FTP either in your sites tree or the parent folder)

So it looks as though there's a bigger problem with my site. Unfortunately I don't know what any of this means or how to fix them.

Thanks

there is an extension called kunena going wrong.. or better... is missing and it happens when referred to from com_cache.. kunena is a forum component.. some I do not see on your site....

Though I cannot figure why it has any to do with the banners...

Hi

I've fixed the kunena problem but activating the banner module still causes my site to disappear.
