No access to back-end and error loading pages

Post by blue_estel » Wed Feb 16, 2022 8:13 am

Hello,
sorry but I have looked for other similar forms but I have not found a solution that is good for my problem: if it is a copy please report it to me. :-[

I state that I am a neophyte: I created a small site of a sports club with joomla a few years ago. For a few days I have not been able to access the back-end and part of the site is no longer displayed correctly (almost all the pages apart from the home blog). Not accessing the administration part, I don't remember the exact version of Jooma :( :(
Also resetting the cookies and trying to log in displays "Your session has expired. Please log in again."

the site is this https://virtuslissone.altervista.org/

Can someone help me?

Welcome to Joomla forum!

You could create a new super admin account and try to login with that, see: https://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_reco ... assword%3F

PS: Your Joomla version is 2.5.18. It was released on 6 February 2014 and is no longer supported with updates since 31 Dec 2014. After you've solved your login issue I would recommend to consider upgrading to Joomla 3 and after that to the most recent version Joomla 4. Instructions: https://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_2.5_to_3 ... _Migration

Ok thanks, also for the tip on the advancement of the version.

I tried to create a new super admin, but nothing changes.
I don't think the problem is the password, in fact it doesn't report an error, I just refresh the login page

Other ideas?
