Hi All,

I have Joomla 2.5.6 installed.

I just noticed I can't remove information about article creation such as Category, article creation date and hits through Article Options.

Basically I changed all options to either "hide" or "no show" and it does not influence information about article creation at all. I tried it on two different Joomla 2.5.6 installations on two different machines - the bug remains (I tried several templates as well).

Does anybody else experience the same problem and how to solve it?

These settings are available in three different places as follows:

(a) At Article Level - Individual Articles
(b) At Global Level - Article Manager Options
(c) At Menu Item Level - Menu Item [Edit]

Check the menu item. It controls which option is used.
