I'm using Joomla 2.5 with jreviews
Here is my issue:
I uploaded my site, everything was fine. I just checked the Contact Us page, which is a simple "select contact" form in which I selected myself as the contact, there is no form and it says "Contact Not Found"
When I look into the user information, it looks like my email is setup fine.

Why would this happen?

Never mind. I fixed it.
In Components>Contacts find the user you selected and make sure it is published.
I missed this for some reason.

possible solution:
assign the contact to a contact-category
and now it will be all right
