Language Switcher Module Simply does not show

Hi friends,

Clean installed Joomla 1.7. The Language Switcher modules just does not appear in the "Module Manager: Modules" list so I can publish it.

I can see it in "Extension Manager: Manage" and it's "Enabled".

Any tips ?

the tab Manage of the Extension Manager shows a list of all the installed extensions in your Joomla! site. Whereas the Module Manager shows the list of modules that are being used in your site.

Go to the Module Manager, click on the icon New, choose the module type Language Switcher in the pop-up menu, publish the module to the appropriate module position.

make sure it's published on all pages for example, also make sure that " language filter" in plugins is enabled .
