No articles showing up

Hi,
My website is currently only in French and I'm looking to add English as a secondary language. The home page shows the featured articles.

I already had the English language pack, so I basically activated the language filter and added a new French Menu, a new English Menu and the language switcher.

After that, I can easily change the websites language between French & English and I see my 2 different menus.

Now, my home page doesn't show any of my featured articles. I also tried to change the home page to a category blog and still no articles showing up. On my single language website, with the same category selected, everything works.

Any suggestions?

My bad, the articles where linked to a user which "language" parameter wasn't set correctly. After correcting this it works.
