See screenshot 'intalleer talen'.
I see in extention manager > install languages only JA modules and JA extentions and no languages. What can be the reason? Why JA modules there???
How can I fix it?

I use Joomla 2.5.8 and JA Purity II

I know. But that does't help. I see no languages. At the next startup of Joomla, I see all JA-modules etc. back. Also after a update.
What can I try?
Can you help me to fix that?

I did the update now with the old method. = With extension manager. An ordinary standard installation.
I saw the JA-modules etc. no more. That was good!
But no languages. This (= see screenshot)
'Er zijn op dit moment geen talen beschikbaar om te installeren. Klik op de "Cache opschonen" en "Vind talen" knoppen om te controleren op updates op de Joomla server voor talen. Er is een internetverbinding nodig om dit te laten fuctioneren.'
I try in Englisch:
'There are currently no languages available to install. Click on the "Cache Cleaner" and "Find language" buttons to check for updates to the Joomla server for languages. You need a Internet connection for this.'
But I have a Internet connection!
When I do this in a other website on the same server and a new intallation Joomla 2.5.8. Than I see the language though.
What could be wrong?

When I a next time logged in, everything was as before. I don't understand this.

Please open your database with phpMyadmin and edit the _update_sites database table.
Make sure you have the Accredited Joomla! Translations entry with the correct link.
If not, create it.

It's true. There was no Accredited Joomla! Translations.
I created it. (see screenshots)
But I don't see the languages in Joomla. There must be something else wrong.
What else can I check?

Thanks for your support!

In the Extension Manager, in the tab Database, check whether any database schema fix is needed.

I got the same error and now have it fixed.

1. Go download a language pack on the Internet. In my case, I wanted a Thai language pack and that's the exact term I queried on Google and found one immediately.
2. Go to Extensions -> Extension Manager and upload the file received from step1

Accredited Thai language pack could be downloaded from http://community.joomla.org/translations/joomla-16-translations.html#th-th.
