Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/content/91/8583091/html/libraries/joomla/application/component/view.php on line 324

please help!!
This error appeared about a month ago & I installed a new certified template hoping this would fix my error... initially it did, but now it's back to this error... only when I try to navagate in the "top menu"... I can find the information I'm looking for in the site map, but not with the search option or the menu bar... the information is there, but I've apparently made an error somewhere & am overly frusterated in trying to find out what has happened or how to fix....

Joomla 2.5 I have my site offline right now since a normal person can't navagate it.... I posted once before when it happened initally, but have not had any help...

thanks... i'm desperate!!!!

Is this a 2.5.6 Joomla ? If not, please update and test again
