Joomla choosing wrong language?

Joomla choosing wrong language?

I am running a Joomla 2.5.6 site with Swedish as default site language - and I also have English installed. I have the language filter plugin activated. The language for my articles is set to "all". Still, it seems Joomla chooses English as site language, giving url's like
I am confused. How do I get Joomla to recognize Swedish as default language. Can someone walk me through this? Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Please check the default language at Admin-> Extensions -> Language Manager -> Installed Site( Tab).

Have you read the Multilingual tutorial as there are quite a few issues that need to be considered?

You should have a set of menus, menu items, modules set up for each language.
