can´t open lang file in joomla 2.5

hi, i just download the file: es-ES_joomla_lang_full_2.5.6v1 which is the language pack spanish for joomla 2.5, and when i try to install it in the Extension Manager: Install, i get this error/advice/warning: "Unable to open archive", is the same than the kunena language pack, with this one i get this error: "Package Install: There were no files to install!" and also "Error installing package."

i downloaded the files from the oficial pages, and i just can´t make it work, does anybody know what coul´d be?

i´ve download this file: http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jtrans ... ge_id=5597 , but each time i try to upload and install it with the extencion manager it shows a: "Unable to open archive message." so i don´t know what to do, what i really want is to translate kunena forum to spanish. i´ve already installed the spanish language pack but then the option to change the language does not appears anywhere, i´ve hear somewhere in a forum i think (i´ve been all around the web to fix this problem) that i have to change first the languaje of my joomla 2.5.xx, any help will be really appreciated.

Can you check the permissions of your tmp folder?

i already check the temp permissions and it has all permissions

Looks like this is a server issue and in no way a language issue.
