Hi

I just installed the US language file, but found out that it changes my default url from http://www.domain.com to http://www.domain.com/en/ and thus I get an error with ItemID and all my menus are stripped from my frontpage.

There is probably a simple solution to this, but right now (and for the last 1 hour), I haven't found it. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Im using Joomla 2.5.7, and SH404SEF, but I dont think SH404SEF is the problem, since the site works well when I change the language settings back to en-GB.

Rgds
Regin

Is your site a multilanguage site?
If not, make sure the languagefilter system plugin is disabled

Language Manager Content is ONLY used on a multilanguage site.

Hm. Okay, but then I do not understand it. I installed the en-US language file, but looking at the source code, it still said that the language of my site was en-gb. How to change that?

On a monolanguage site, just set the default site language to en-US

I already did that, but look at the source file here:http://www.tantec.com/.
In the HTML header it still says "xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb">"
