Can't change browser title home page

Hi,
first to mention I use joomla 2.5.17 on my web site www.petrusbg.com. It is a multilingual site. When I try to change the browser web page title in the Bulgarian version noting changes in the front end. However, when I change the browser title in the English version it works fine. It is the same with the copyright information. There is slight difference between the Bulgarian and the English version because I use more extensions/plugins the Bulgarian version.

P.S. Don't want to upgrade to Joomla 3 because some extensions or the template might not work.

Update/migrate Joomla to the current versions
Change it in the Article's meta data

OK thanks for the answer, but what about everything works fine without updating anything in the English version of the site?

You need to update/migrate the WHOLE site. Your version is vulnerable it was released nearly 6 years ago. The last 2.5 was 2.5.28 and has not been supported for nearly 5 years.

OK, do you think that my template and the extensions/plugins will be supported by the latest Joomla because I don't want to lose the website when migrating to the newest Joomla?

Doubtful that the Template will nor (possibly) some of the extensions. But you will loose the ability to use your site when your Template/extensions fail to work as your Host updates their php version.

With sites, that have not been updated in many years, it is often easier and quicker to rebuild the site. There are extensions that can export/import content/users from your old Joomla to a fresh 3.9.12.
