Google analytics script disapearing

Hi everyone,

has anyone ever seen this before at the top of the page?

im entering the google analytics code as a script into the "theme parameters" in the backend

<script> and </script> are there

but when i hit save <script> and </script> just disappear from the code

has this ever happened to anyone? how do i stop <script> and </script> from disappearing?

Which kind of editor are you using? It's the editor that usually strips out the code. If you're using JCE you can allow for JS scripts by modifying the default profile (under the "Advanced" section if I'm not mistaken).
