The #1 seo factor is backlinks. Links from social sites won't help your rankings, because they are nofollow. So you need quality backlinks from good websites in your specific niche.

The best ways I have found are:
1) Write guestposts on blogs and websites in your niche.
2) Do an infographics with the best content on some aspect of your niche.

Unfortunately, you're a bit far behind if you're still messing with your sitemap.

Google traffic involves a process like this:

- Start a blog or publish pages of content
- Do keyword research to find relatively non-competitive keywords
