Hi, i need help from you guys, i try to fix on my own, but i cant do it.

Front page are showing, but when click on some other page,
404 - File or directory not found.
I have file .htaccess on my root folder, and i dont know what the problem can be. Thanks in advance.

Hello mate
When you enabled URL rewriting did you delete your current .htaccess and rename the htaccess.txt file that was included in your Joomla installation to .htaccess ?

It is not my site, i am doing small work on it and when i check ftp, i already had .htaccess, i dont think that is a problem, but i can download new joomla and replace file if you think that that will fix it.

Well that's what cause the problem most of the times, just do it and report if it doesn't work.

I personally prefer AceSEF as they have a basic free plugin and module which does the trick.

404 error usually appears on the screen when there is nothing available in the site or currently the site is busy at the moment. Sometimes you find the data after restarting your internet and computer or simply by repairing the internet.

Hi!, the same thing happened to me when clicking in any link in the menu item. Select all menus and click the Rebuild button from the Menu Manager.
