Search Component to direct result to page

I want to make the search result to direct to the result page, rather than displaying a result list. As the keyword is only dedicated to a single page it is not necessary to have a result page.

Also how can I exclude a category from the search?

Hi ,

Yes we can do the stuff in the code , if there keyword contain only one page, we can redirect to the particular page, if there is more then one result then we can display result page.
